In conclusion, energy powered by wind, solar, and nuclear sources at a glance may seem to be green and an alternative to coal, but all three are hardly close to being beneficial. Each one cannot be relied on, has high cost, cannot supply enough energy, and are environmentally harmful. Therefore, unless being green means to be any of those things, these so called renewable energies should not be used as new sources of power, but instead there should be more time spent on reducing all these negative effects or focusing on new sources of energy.
